Shayne C. Huffman

Shayne C. Huffman appreciates the opportunities to give power back to clients whose rights have been violated by institutions.

Shayne grew up in El Paso, Texas before moving to Albuquerque for law school. After graduating from the University of New Mexico School of Law, Shayne was too rooted in the community to leave. At various stops in his career, Shayne has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of areas. He finds most fulfillment in representing individuals fighting against abuses of power.

Shayne became a lawyer to help others. He has a strong commitment to client-centered representation and prioritizes serving the person he represents.  Shayne has years of experience representing employees who have been wronged by private and public employers, standing up for victims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in actions under Title VII, the New Mexico Human Rights Act, and the Whistleblower Protection Act. Shayne’s practice also includes litigating civil rights and personal injury cases.
