Sexual Abuse

Sexual abuse is a violation of the most fundamental human rights and personal integrities, particularly when the abuse is perpetrated by someone in a position of authority over the victim.

Since 2009, the Firm has focused its practice on the representation of survivors of sexual abuse –  particularly in the contexts of clergy sexual abuse,  sexual abuse by youth-serving organizations, and sexual abuse by public officials or employees.

Survivors of sexual abuse often find themselves silenced for years or decades. However, New Mexico law frequently preserves the legal claims of survivors even after many years or decades have passed. If you are a survivor of sexual abuse, please contact us to find out about the legal remedies available to you.
